Winter weather doesn’t just cause occasional delays, it can change your flight plans dramatically. It pays to be early to the airport in case your gate, flight or terminal get changed. Increased travel also means more people in the airport, which can slow you down from the check-in desk, through security and down the terminal to your gate. Again, adding extra time to navigate the crowds will pay off in the end.
