National Lampoon’s European Vacation is just about our favorite installment of the Vacation movies. Who doesn’t love the escapades and misadventures of the Griswold family as the roam and rampage their way through Europe? Also, who wouldn’t jump at the chance to dance in Lederhosen?

Despite the misadventures, Clark managed to (mostly) accomplish what we all want to do: spend quality time with family visiting far-away sights many people only dream of seeing. Granted, he may have been oblivious to a lot of things while eagerly checking off his Must See sights, but he managed some epic selfies! And we’re still a little envious of their Italian fashion shopping spree.

Fun as that might be, there is something wonderful at the end of a trip: home. As much as we love exploring the world, sometimes it’s nice to just be home. Something you might not realize until you’ve been traveling.
