We (and many other travel blogs) have suggested you take copies of important documents, and make note of things like credit card numbers, passport/license numbers, and important telephone numbers. Make sure you also include information on any medications you need, and your prescription for contacts or eyeglasses. Nothing worse than missing out on vacation because you can’t see – or worse, can’t breathe! (Be sure to include any medication your pets might need if they’re traveling with you.)
