#Travel140 #TravelTip: Know the limits & check your bag before you have to check your bag.
More and more, airlines are cracking down on carry-on bags that are over the size limit, no matter how slightly so. To avoid any issues, check your airline’s website for size limits and be sure your carry-on fits in the “sizer” at the gate before getting in line to board your flight. While each airline may have different requirements, 22” tall, 14” wide and 9” deep (or 56cm x 35cm x 22cm) is average. Just remember, luggage manufacturers have no obligation to make bags guaranteed to fit. Be informed and be aware when you’re shopping for luggage so you don’t end up having to gate check your carry-on.
