Favorite Travel Quotes: The Voyage Never Ends

Travel Quotes

Once you have travelled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.

– Pat Conroy

Many of our favorite travel quotes speak to the many ways travel changes you. One of the most fundamental ways is by adding layers of memory and experience that play on repeat through your life ever after.

The quiet smile when distant friends come to mind. The memory of awe from landmarks and landscapes. The inner giggles and tears over mayhem and mishap, sweet meetings and fond farewells. These will stay with you the rest of your days.

Memories are the enduring gift of travel.

About the Photo

There is something timeless about a seaside sunset that lingers in your memory. This Belizean sunset, seen from Rain rooftop restaurant on Ambergris Caye, was a standout in a week of gorgeous sunsets. It reminds us of the long, lazy days of summer under the sun and water, and plays over and over again in the quiet chambers of our memories.
